Are you ready to build a Capsule Wardrobe?

Let's find out! Read on to determine if you're ready to begin building a (Co)Capsule(s) Wardrobe.

Chances are, since you’re here (welcome!), you’re on the edge of making an exciting commitment to your closet - and a commitment to yourself! Building a capsule wardrobe doesn’t have to be a fast, stressful, or “all-in” decision - it can be a slow and steady transition. So if the “commitment” word freaks you out a bit, let’s just call this an “exciting closet change.”

There is no right answer on exactly how to create the perfect capsule wardrobe since it’s unique for every person, but there’s a few basics you’ll have to be ready for before getting started, like purging the items that no longer serve you, and investing in a few fresh items that do!

To help you get through some deep closet introspection, let’s play a game -- because this should be a fun process!

Raise your hand if …

  1. Getting dressed often results in a giant pile of tried-on and quickly thrown-off clothes
  2. You find yourself changing multiple times because “UGH it just doesn’t look/feel/fit right!”
  3. Half your closet is collecting dust while the same few items are used + abused

We get it… we’ve been there!

The process of getting dressed, especially as women, should make us feel confident and comfortable -- not overwhelmed and insecure. If you have a closet filled to the brim with clothes you just don’t love, the process of getting dressed won't be as fun as it should be.

Sometimes, less truly is more. If you’ve experienced any of the struggles on the list above, a capsule wardrobe is right for you. This approach will inspire you to clean out the clothes that no longer serve you, and we’ll be here to help you curate the perfect wardrobe so you feel confident and comfortable in every item in your closet.

But a capsule wardrobe isn’t just for those of us who struggle with picking outfits from an overflowing closet.

Raise your hand if…

  1. You’ve recently started a new job
  2. You’ve recently added to your family
  3. You’ve recently gone through a big life transition (move, marriage, etc.)

Building a closet to reflect your personal style is key to gaining and maintaining confidence when going through life changes. Especially if the change means you’ll have less time in the morning to try on multiple outfits (hello, motherhood!).

Your clothes should reflect who you are now, not who you used to be. We see you over there hanging onto your fav shirt from 5 years ago… it’s time to let her go. A capsule wardrobe helps you build a closet filled with items that serve who you are and what you do. If you’ve gone through any big changes in life, now is the perfect time to start a capsule closet, and we’re here to help you every step of the way.

If you raised your hand to anything here, a capsule wardrobe is right for you. Ready to take the next step?
