MORE ON MODAL
you may be wondering... what exactly is modal? modal is a type of rayon made specifically from the beech tree. while rayon is made from wood pulp of any tree, it's not typically considered a natural fiber because of the amount of processing and chemicals that goes into manufacturing the material. the production of modal differs in that 95 percent of the materials used to make it are reclaimed which reduces emissions and conserves resources.
the modal fabric used to make the lift legging is a knit and is blended with spandex, which allows the leggings to be very stretchy without losing shape throughout wear, while also being cool and breathable. the material holds dye well, is resistant to shrinkage, and has strong fibers meaning the leggings will not become misshapen when washed. if you'd like to read more on modal, we found this article [click here] to be a great resource.
